Who we are
Initially the objective of the Directors, (David Luyombya and Peter Luyombya) was to look to implement international standard systems into established Ugandan healthcare institutions. In early 2015 the Directors approached Mengo Hospital Management regarding the improvement of Mengo Hospital's service. We proposed to offer a new concept of laundry services and linen supply alongside modernising the Central Sterile Supply Department.
We identified the laundry service as the key area to start with as this would have a positive impact in terms of presentation and patient experience, as well as improving the general level of infection control and clinical practice. Since then there has been a cultural change throughout the hospital and raised levels of professionalism.

High Quality Standards
We aim to benchmark medical laundry services in Uganda. In collaboration with Electrolux, and Keltron Development Services we designed and constructed a purpose built facility equipped with new state-of-the-art commercial laundry equipment. Electrolux continue to provide ongoing service and technical support through their partners in Uganda, Elektron International Ltd and Indeed Technical Services.
